Artikel 11 Typ av order i kryptotillgångar

Summary What does Article 11 of the RTS on trading platform order book records say?

Article 11 deals with the recording of order types by crypto-asset service providers operating trading platforms.

It sets out a two-tier approach to order classification: providers must first record the order type using their own internal specification, and then separately classify each order into one of two standardised categories.

This article sits within a broader framework of record-keeping obligations that collectively define what information trading platform operators must capture and maintain.

Important points:

  • Record the order type for each order received using your own internal specification, in line with field 21 of Table 2 of the Annex.
  • Classify every order received as either a limit order or a stop order, as specified in field 22 of Table 2 of the Annex.
  • Both obligations apply to crypto-asset service providers operating a trading platform for crypto-assets.
