Summary What does Article 1 of the RTS on continuity and regularity say?

This is a short definitions article that establishes the precise meaning of two key terms used throughout the regulation.

Rather than creating entirely new concepts, it anchors one term to an existing definition in Regulation (EU) 2022/2554 and introduces a crypto-asset-specific concept relevant to the business continuity obligations that follow in subsequent articles.

Understand that "critical or important function" carries the same meaning as defined in Regulation (EU) 2022/2554, directly linking this regulation to that existing framework.

I denna förordning gäller följande definitioner:

kritisk eller viktig funktion: en kritisk eller viktig funktion enligt definitionen i artikel 3.22 i förordning (EU) 2022/2554.
tillståndsfri distribuerad liggare: en specifik typ av distribuerad liggare där ingen enhet kontrollerar den distribuerade liggaren och DLT-nätnoder kan inrättas av varje person som uppfyller de tekniska kraven och protokollen i den distribuerade liggaren.
