Art. 4 Format för uppgiftsutbyte och åtföljande information | ITS on non-EU currency reporting | MiCA

This article sets out the technical formatting and data standards that must be followed when submitting information under this Regulation.

It builds on the reporting obligations established in Articles 1 and 3 by specifying how that data must actually be structured and presented.

For issuers, the format is dictated by competent authorities and must align with the data point model and validation formulae in Annex V.

For crypto-asset service providers, the format is determined by the issuers themselves when submitting the information required under Article 1(2).

Important points:

Issuers must submit data in formats specified by competent authorities, following the data point model and validation formulae in Annex V, with inapplicable fields excluded entirely.
Submit numerical monetary values with a minimum precision of ten thousands of units, and integer values with no decimals.
Crypto-asset service providers must submit their information to issuers in data exchange formats specified by the issuers, not by competent authorities.

1. När utgivarna lämnar in de uppgifter som avses i denna förordning ska de lämna in dem i de format för uppgiftsutbyte och framställningar som de behöriga myndigheterna anger och i enlighet med de datapunktsdefinitioner, den datapunktsmodell och de valideringsregler som anges i bilaga V samt enligt följande specifikationer:
  1. Uppgifter som inte krävs eller inte är tillämpliga ska inte ingå i uppgiftsinlämningen.
  2. Numeriska värden ska anges enligt följande:
    Datapunkter av uppgiftstypen ”monetär” ska anges med en minsta noggrannhet motsvarande tiotusental enheter.
    Datapunkter av uppgiftstypen ”heltal” ska anges utan decimaler och med en noggrannhet motsvarande en enhet.
1. Leverantörer av kryptotillgångstjänster ska lämna in de uppgifter som avses i artikel 1.2 till utgivarna i de format för uppgiftsutbyte och framställningar som utgivarna anger.
