Artikel 3 Definitioner

This is a definitions article, establishing the key terms used throughout the regulation.

Importantly, it builds upon existing definitions found in the Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065), the GDPR (Regulation (EU) 2016/679), and Regulation (EU) 2018/1725, supplementing them with four AGORA-specific terms.

The four definitions introduced here — AGORA, AGORA actor, AGORA user, and AGORA administrator — form the foundational vocabulary that underpins every subsequent obligation and role described in the regulation.

Important points:

• The term "AGORA actor" covers Digital Services Coordinators, the Commission, the Board, and any other competent authorities granted access to the system.
• The term "AGORA user" refers to an individual natural person registered in AGORA who works under the authority of an AGORA actor.
• The term "AGORA administrator" is a specific category of AGORA user, appointed by an AGORA actor to manage AGORA on that actor's behalf.
