Artikel 10 Konfidentialitet

Article 10 addresses confidentiality obligations within AGORA.

It establishes that existing confidentiality frameworks — whether at national or Union level — extend naturally into the AGORA environment, meaning no entirely new confidentiality regime is created.

It also introduces a reciprocal dimension, requiring each AGORA actor to honour confidentiality requests made by other AGORA actors, ensuring that the system operates on a basis of mutual trust.

Important points:

• Each Member State and the Commission must apply their existing professional secrecy or confidentiality rules to their AGORA administrators and users.
• Each AGORA actor is required to ensure that confidentiality requests from other AGORA actors are respected by the administrators and users under their authority.
• Confidentiality obligations flow both internally, through national or Union law, and externally, through compliance with the requests of other AGORA actors.
