This article establishes an annual reporting obligation on the Commission, requiring it to keep the European Parliament and the Council informed on how the Digital Markets Act is being implemented and whether its objectives are being met.

The report serves as a structured accountability mechanism, covering the Commission's own enforcement activities, gatekeeper compliance, and the workings of the broader regulatory ecosystem, including cooperation with national authorities and the High Level Group of Digital Regulators.

The report must also be made publicly available on the Commission's website.

1. Kommissionen ska till Europaparlamentet och rådet överlämna en årlig rapport om genomförandet av denna förordning och om de framsteg som gjorts för att uppnå dess mål.
1. Den rapport som avses i punkt 1 ska innehålla följande:
  1. En sammanfattning av kommissionens verksamhet, inbegripet antagna åtgärder eller beslut och pågående marknadsundersökningar i samband med denna förordning.
  2. Resultaten av övervakningen av grindvakternas genomförande av skyldigheterna enligt denna förordning.
  3. En bedömning av den reviderade beskrivning som avses i artikel 15.
  4. En översikt över samarbetet mellan kommissionen och nationella myndigheter i samband med denna förordning.
  5. En översikt över de verksamheter och uppgifter som utförs av högnivågruppen för digitala tillsynsmyndigheter, inbegripet hur dess rekommendationer vad gäller efterlevnaden av denna förordning ska genomföras.
1. Kommissionen ska offentliggöra rapporten på sin webbplats.
