Administrativa omprövningsnämndens ledamöter och två suppleanter ska utses av styrelsen i tillsynssammansättning för en period på fem år, som kan förnyas en gång, efter en offentlig inbjudan till intresseanmälan som offentliggjorts i Europeiska unionens officiella tidning. De får inte vara bundna av några instruktioner.
Administrativa omprövningsnämndens ledamöter ska verka oberoende och i det allmännas intresse och får inte utföra andra uppgifter inom myndigheten.
