Artikel 62 Styrelsens sammanträden
Summary What does Article 62 of the Anti-money laundering authority regulation (AMLAR) say?
This article sets out the practical operating rules for meetings of the General Board.
It covers who convenes meetings, how often they must occur, and the conditions under which additional participants may be present.
It acts as a procedural companion to the articles establishing the General Board's composition and powers, ensuring the mechanics of how that body functions are clearly defined.
Important points:
- The Chair of the Authority is responsible for convening General Board meetings, which must take place at least twice a year.
- The General Board may invite observers and members may be assisted by advisers or experts, subject to its rules of procedure.
- The Chair of the Authority and the five full-time Executive Board members are excluded from General Board meetings where matters concerning their own mandate are discussed or decided upon.
