Artikel 38 Samordning av anmälda organ

This article deals with the coordination and cooperation infrastructure for notified bodies — the third-party organisations responsible for carrying out conformity assessments of high-risk AI systems.

It establishes that the Commission must ensure these bodies work together through a dedicated sectoral group, and that notifying authorities must ensure their bodies actively participate in that group.

The Commission also takes on a knowledge-sharing role between notifying authorities themselves.
