Summary What does Article 11 of the RTS on trading platform order book records say?

Article 11 deals with the recording of order types by crypto-asset service providers operating trading platforms.

It sets out a two-tier approach to order classification: providers must first record the order type using their own internal specification, and then separately classify each order into one of two standardised categories.

This article sits within a broader framework of record-keeping obligations that collectively define what information trading platform operators must capture and maintain.

Record the order type for each order received using your own internal specification, in line with field 21 of Table 2 of the Annex.
Classify every order received as either a limit order or a stop order, as specified in field 22 of Table 2 of the Annex.
