A "connected person" is defined by reference to Article 72(1) of MiCA, meaning this regulation operates as a downstream measure directly supplementing that parent obligation.

Aux fins du présent règlement, on entend par:

«personne liée»: toute personne visée à l’article 72, paragraphe 1, point a) i) à iv), du règlement (UE) 2023/1114;
«rémunération»: toute forme de paiement ou d’autre avantage financier ou non financier fourni directement ou indirectement par des prestataires de services sur crypto-actifs en lien avec la fourniture à des clients de services sur crypto-actifs;
«groupe»: tout groupe au sens de l’article 2, point 11, de la directive 2013/34/UE du Parlement européen et du Conseil(⁵).
