Summary What does Article 3 of the ITS on notification of crypto-asset service provision say?

This article sets out the obligation on competent authorities to formally acknowledge notifications they receive.

It directly follows from the notification submission process established in Article 2, completing the procedural loop by requiring competent authorities to confirm receipt and provide the notifying entity with a point of contact for follow-up.

Competent authorities are required to send an acknowledgement of receipt to the notifying entity within five working days of receiving a notification.
Competent authorities must include in the acknowledgement the contact details of the specific department, function, or staff member handling the notification.
The acknowledgement may be sent electronically, on paper, or in both forms.

Dans un délai de cinq jours ouvrables à compter de la réception d’une notification, l’autorité compétente envoie un accusé de réception par voie électronique, sur support papier, ou sous les deux formes, à l’entité à l’origine de cette notification.
