This article addresses two practical aspects of AGORA's operation: language accessibility and the legal usability of information exchanged through the system.

The Commission is required to ensure the system works across all official EU languages, while also clarifying that information received via AGORA carries the same legal standing as information obtained through domestic means.

This second point is particularly significant as it removes any potential barrier to using AGORA-sourced material in supervisory or enforcement proceedings.

Important points:

The Commission is required to make AGORA available in all official Union languages and provide automated machine-translation tools for documents and messages.
Digital Services Coordinators and other competent authorities may use information, documents, findings, statements, or certified true copies received via AGORA on the same basis as information obtained in their own country.
Any use of AGORA-sourced material must be for purposes compatible with those for which the data were originally collected, and in accordance with relevant EU and national laws.

Un coordinateur pour les services numériques, ou toute autre autorité compétente à laquelle l’accès à AGORA a été accordé, peut produire, en lien avec l’exécution de toute tâche qui lui a été confiée conformément au règlement (UE) 2022/2065, tous documents, informations, constatations, déclarations ou copies certifiées conformes que ce coordinateur ou cette autorité a reçus dans AGORA, sur la même base que des informations similaires obtenues dans son propre pays, à des fins compatibles avec celles pour lesquelles les données ont été initialement collectées et conformément au droit de l’Union et au droit national applicables.
