1. Les États membres veillent à ce que les CRF désignent un officier préposé aux droits fondamentaux. L’officier préposé aux droits fondamentaux peut faire partie du personnel existant de la CRF.
1. L’officier préposé aux droits fondamentaux est chargé des tâches suivantes:
  1. conseiller le personnel de la CRF sur toute activité de celle-ci lorsque l’officier préposé aux droits fondamentaux le juge nécessaire ou lorsque le personnel de la CRF lui en fait la demande, sans pour autant entraver ni retarder ces activités;
  2. promouvoir le respect des droits fondamentaux par la CRF et en assurer le suivi;
  3. émettre des avis non contraignants sur la conformité des activités de la CRF avec les droits fondamentaux;
  4. informer le chef de la CRF au sujet d’éventuelles violations des droits fondamentaux au cours des activités de la CRF.
1. La CRF veille à ce que l’officier préposé aux droits fondamentaux ne reçoive aucune instruction en ce qui concerne l’exercice des tâches de l’officier préposé aux droits fondamentaux.
