Article 1 Duty to cooperate in good faith

    1. In accordance with Articles 7(2) and 15(1) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1620, the Authority and the financial supervisorsmeans the body entrusted with responsibilities aimed at ensuring compliance by obliged entities with the requirements of this Regulation, including AMLA when performing the tasks entrusted to it in Article 5(2) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1620; shall cooperate in good faith and shall exchange, in a timely and accurate manner, all information and data which are necessary for the Authority and the financial supervisorsmeans the body entrusted with responsibilities aimed at ensuring compliance by obliged entities with the requirements of this Regulation, including AMLA when performing the tasks entrusted to it in Article 5(2) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1620; to carry out the tasks conferred on them in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2024/1620, Directive (EU) 2024/1640 and other applicable Union or national law, including information necessary for financial supervisorsmeans the body entrusted with responsibilities aimed at ensuring compliance by obliged entities with the requirements of this Regulation, including AMLA when performing the tasks entrusted to it in Article 5(2) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1620; to carry out their role in assisting the Authority where appropriate.

    1. In the exercise of their duties, financial supervisorsmeans the body entrusted with responsibilities aimed at ensuring compliance by obliged entities with the requirements of this Regulation, including AMLA when performing the tasks entrusted to it in Article 5(2) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1620; and the Authority shall, in particular, ensure the accurate identification and assessment of eligible obliged entities and listing of selected obliged entities, as well as the continuity and the effectiveness of the supervision of selected obliged entities, including during transfers of supervisory tasks and powers.
