Article 29 Language arrangements in direct supervision
The Authority and the financial supervisorsmeans the body entrusted with responsibilities aimed at ensuring compliance by obliged entities with the requirements of this Regulation, including AMLA when performing the tasks entrusted to it in Article 5(2) of Regulation (EU) 2024/1620; shall adopt arrangements for their communications within the AML/CFT supervisory systemmeans the Authority and the supervisory authorities in Member States;, including the language(s) to be used.

Where an agreement on the exclusive use of one language as referred to in paragraph 3 is subsequently revoked, that revocation shall only affect the aspects of the Authority’s supervisory procedure which have not yet been carried out.
Where participants in an oral hearing request to be heard in an official language of the Union other than the language of the Authority’s supervisory procedure, sufficient advance notice of that requirement shall be given to the Authority so that it can make the necessary arrangements.
