A "connected person" is defined by reference to Article 72(1) of MiCA, meaning this regulation operates as a downstream measure directly supplementing that parent obligation.
"Remuneration" is defined broadly to capture any form of payment or benefit, financial or non-financial, direct or indirect, made by crypto-asset service providers to clients in connection with crypto-asset services.

Für die Zwecke dieser Verordnung bezeichnet der Ausdruck

„verbundene Person“ eine der in Artikel 72 Absatz 1 Buchstabe a Ziffern i bis iv der Verordnung (EU) 2023/1114 genannten Personen;
„Vergütung“ jede Art von Zahlung oder sonstigem finanziellen oder nicht finanziellen Vorteil, die/den Anbieter von Kryptowerte-Dienstleistungen in Verbindung mit der Erbringung von Kryptowerte-Dienstleistungen für ihre Kunden direkt oder indirekt leisten bzw. gewähren;
„Gruppe“ eine Gruppe im Sinne von Artikel 2 Nummer 11 der Richtlinie 2013/34/EU des Europäischen Parlaments und des Rates(⁵).
