This article addresses two practical aspects of AGORA's operation: language accessibility and the legal usability of information exchanged through the system.

The Commission is required to ensure the system works across all official EU languages, while also clarifying that information received via AGORA carries the same legal standing as information obtained through domestic means.

This second point is particularly significant as it removes any potential barrier to using AGORA-sourced material in supervisory or enforcement proceedings.

Important points:

The Commission is required to make AGORA available in all official Union languages and provide automated machine-translation tools for documents and messages.
Digital Services Coordinators and other competent authorities may use information, documents, findings, statements, or certified true copies received via AGORA on the same basis as information obtained in their own country.
Any use of AGORA-sourced material must be for purposes compatible with those for which the data were originally collected, and in accordance with relevant EU and national laws.

1. Die Kommission stellt AGORA in allen Amtssprachen der Union zur Verfügung und bietet den AGORA-Nutzern automatisierte maschinelle Übersetzungswerkzeuge für die Übersetzung von in AGORA ausgetauschten Dokumenten und Nachrichten/Meldungen an.

Ein Koordinator für digitale Dienste oder eine andere zuständige Behörde, der Zugang zu AGORA gewährt wird, kann im Zusammenhang mit der Wahrnehmung der ihm/ihr gemäß der Verordnung (EU) 2022/2065 übertragenen Aufgaben alle in AGORA erhaltenen Informationen, Dokumente, Erkenntnisse, Feststellungen, Erklärungen oder beglaubigten Kopien auf der gleichen Grundlage vorlegen wie ähnliche Informationen, die er/sie im eigenen Land erhalten hat, und zwar zu Zwecken, die mit den Zwecken vereinbar sind, für die die Daten ursprünglich erhoben wurden, und im Einklang mit dem einschlägigen nationalen Recht und EU-Recht.
