Bei der Wahrnehmung der ihnen durch diese Verordnung übertragenen Aufgaben handeln der Vorsitzende der Behörde und die Mitglieder des Verwaltungsrats in seiner Aufsichtszusammensetzung und in seiner Meldestellen-Zusammensetzung unabhängig und im allgemeinen Interesse der Union als Ganzes und dürfen sie von Organen, Einrichtungen und sonstigen Stellen der Union, von Regierungen oder von anderen öffentlichen oder privaten Stellen weder Weisungen anfordern noch entgegennehmen.
